Case study for C200 and C110 ball valves
Tight space and tight schedule
50 different surface finishes of the highest quality are required, i.e. all surface variants used on the market, optionally in automotive quality: Bright and matt chrome, matt, bright and pearlescent nickel, (MPS nickel, MR nickel), copper as well as matt and bright gold.
This demand requires top-quality plating solutions. The plating solution basins are cleaned on a regularly scheduled basis in order to meet the high quality standards and minimize unplanned downtime. This means it is necessary to reliably prevent "seizing" of the valves during operation.
There were numerous requirements for the implementation of the project. Two key factors were the available construction space due to the structural conditions and the tight schedule. On the other hand, the valves had to have large nominal diameters and high Kv values in order to operate the system in an energy-efficient manner and with top performance. A central management of substance flows was required. This was only possible with short distances, compact valves and valve clusters.
C110 ball valves in nominal sizes ND65 to DN150
Systems and valves with union nuts are only available up to a nominal diameter of DN100. The C110 is an extremely compact intermediate flange version that can be flanged directly between flanged bushes / stub ends and is therefore significantly shorter than comparable ball valves with a union nut. The high-quality stainless steel bushes with through bolts are extremely easy to maintain and minimize downtimes.
Doubling performance
The demand for a compact and space-saving valve was met in full.
As valves are prevented from "seizing" a long service life and therefore extremely low maintenance requirements are ensured.
